My Spring Style Round-up

It’s been a while since I’ve done a post like this so thought it would be nice to look back at what I was wearing in spring.

Above are my three favourite spring dresses: the Ultimate Shift, Emma and Alex Shirt Dress.

This Ultimate Shift Dress I made back in May and actually wore it with mid blue tights. I still wanted long sleeves, but also something bright and cheerful. Styled with some court shoes, it was perfect for a day in the shop.

I looooove this stripey Emma Dress. We made it for an updated photoshoot for the online class: Intro to Knits. Once the shoot was done I made sure this went into my wardrobe and not the shops as a sample! It looks great with bare legs but I preferred wearing it with my navy tights – I reckon I can wear this in the the winter too with a little cardi.

And finally the Alex Shirt Dress is an oldie but a goodie. This is the sample that was made for the ebook shoot in Paris and I have worn it lots over spring. It is effortlessly cool and so versatile. I love it with this brown leather belt.

This was my spring ‘mum wardrobe’. I wore my Mia Jeans so much! I recently pinched them back from one of the shops as they are a perfect fit again. I’m wearing them with a non-handmade jumper from Joy, my espadrilles from ASOS and my handmade necklace.

In the right picture I’m in a Silk Cami and my new suede jacket from All Saints. I love the colour but I only wear it when I know Jasmine wont be eating a meal near me!!

And finally, here I am in my trusty Kimono Jacket. I love being able to throw this on and give my outfit instant glam! I wear it like this with a necklace and pink lip for work, then style it down with a t-shirt and a ponytail for the weekend.

It’s funny how your style changes over the years. My spring wardrobe was quite different a couple of years ago. I wonder what it will be like next year!
