I am very excited about this upcoming season. Autumn is definitely my month. It has my birthday, which always is a bonus, but more importantly – I love dressing for autumn weather! And this season particularly has some lovely colour palettes and styles I love.
I think a little tan bag like this is the perfect autumn accessory. It goes so well with the colours I’m loving!
These jumpers from Sezane are simply gorgeous. It is my new favourite brand, which you might have guessed from my last video. The pink cardigan is new in stock and the ivory wrap is already on my wishlist. I love the idea of wearing them out with some Ultimate Trousers or tucked in with a waisted skirt. Delicious!
I am very excited about the leopard print trend coming back. I have a few RTW pieces, but no handmade pieces. So I bought some leopard print rayon and jersey and I am going to get sewing some up! I am thinking of going big with a Heidi dress maxi and then maybe a Molly top for the weekend. Excited to get these going!
Corduroy is another thing I am loving this season. So many gorgeous jackets and trousers out there. We have recently bought lots in for the shop and I have an Erin skirt, Mia Jeans and Ava all on my sewing to-do list. These colours are so autumnal, aren’t they?
And finally, this brown jumpsuit. I am not sure if there is a pattern out there for this. Anyone know of one? I just can’t get enough of it and I am definitely tempted to buy it – even though I am meant to be saving all my pennies for the house reno 🙁 And the boots – well I think these will have to go on my birthday list! There is no way I can go through autumn without them. Must haves for sure.
