October 2018: Monthly Round-up

It has been a few months again since I done one of these posts but I think that gives them a real variation of snapshots in time; life and business wise. This month it is pretty life focused as it’s all about the new house! I think I’ve bought more furniture than I ever have in my whole life…

Sewing – Everything autumnal! I’m loving corduroy at the moment – very on trend.

Making – Lists! Loads of lists about all the things I need to do for the new house.

Cooking – Cheese toasties. Although I do need to up my toastie game.

Drinking – Hot chocolate 🍫 I had my first one at work the other day and another at the weekend.

Hoping – That we’ll move into the new house before Christmas.

Loving –  Farrow & Ball paint colours.

Hating – Not being in control of all the building work on the house. I wish I could do it all myself!

Buying – Furniture, furniture and more furniture!

Watching – Killing Eve is a new thriller on BBC Three I’m enjoying at the moment. And in the film department, I recently watched Ethel & Earnest. A true story based on a graphic novel by Raymond Briggs about his parents through the duration of their life living in London. I really enjoyed it – would definitely recommend!

Sporting – Boots! They are my new shoe obsession.

Laughing – I got stuck in a Michael Mcintyre Youtube hole the other day.

Admiring – The whole of Sezane’s current collection. 😍

Thinking – About big projects for Sew Over It next year.

Decorating – The house – although its basically a building site. I’m enjoying creating Pinterest boards.

Realising – We may be homeless for a few weeks! There’s definitely more hiccups with the house than I thought.

Needing – A sewing space. I have nowhere to sew at home at the moment.

Yearning – Some more decisive weather so I know what to wear! 😉
