What I Wore Last Week… and why

I thought I’d start putting together a weekly post based on my Instagram stories and all the outfits I wear throughout the week. It’s another nice thing to look back on and keep for future outfit inspo.

On Tuesday I wore my new Astoria top, which I’m loving. It’s so cosy! It’s the perfect length for these empire waist trousers. I wore tan leather ankle boots with it, which went really well with the top.

I loved the wide leg trouser look the day before and felt really comfortable in them, so I embraced it again with these Camille trousers the next day. I’m not sure they’ll be warm enough once we get to the deepest depths of winter, so I want to get a few wears in now. I paired them with my Cropped Cardigan in black – I had a little vest underneath as well to stay warm. I wore it with heel ankle boots in black suede.

This was definitely my outfit of the week. I was a bit nervous about wearing it, as it’s so much leopard print, but I loved it! I was having an office day which I usually dress down for but decided against. Why not dress up? Embrace fab clothes every day 🙂 I wore the same boots as the day before with it.

On Friday I went as short as I go with this Molly dress but balanced it out with thick tights, a big scarf from Zara and had my Sezane cardigan on underneath. The coat is a Chloe.
It admittedly wasn’t the best choice of outfits for meeting with the builder at the house since there are no floors and people working beneath!

On Saturday we just mooched around Hackney and my new Gestuz jumper from Studio B was perfect for that. It kept me so cosy and warm.

Monday’s vibe. It is my Jazzy day so I always dress low key but fancied wearing a dress – I popped on a thermal vest underneath as it was cold. I haven’t worn this Zara dress in ages but I loved it. Wore it with ankle boots – of course.

And lastly, Tuesdays outfit was a new Ultimate Shift Dress in this gorgeous burgundy twill crepe. I didn’t wear it with a belt so wore the necklace to break it up. I think the colour combo worked well.
