December 2018 – Monthly Round-up

It’s been a tough few weeks with the house, so I’m looking forward to escaping to Yorkshire over the Christmas Holiday for a few days. I’m hoping that when I’m back, and the next time I do one of these round-ups, it feels like a distant memory!

Sewing – The Ava skirt because it’s a lovely quick make – which is fitting for life at the moment! And it’s lovely in corduroy.

Making – My home nice! I’ve been working on the bedrooms.

Drinking – Malbec – loads of it!

Hoping – The downstairs of the house will be ready by January – someone send the fairies!

Loving –  Our new bed from west elm. 😍

Hating – Building dust! I mop the three rooms we’re in every night, it’s my new ritual.

Buying – Lots of hooks, door knobs, and varnish!

Watching – Season 2 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Sporting – Thermal vests and tights tucked in underneath everything I wear!

Laughing – I haven’t been laughing much. 😥

Admiring – Matt for taking over the house project.

Decorating – The house – the builders are meant to be, but I’m doing small bits here and there. I’m hoping to pick up some Annie Sloan paint for Jasmine’s room.

Realising – All building works are always late!

Needing – Lots of tea to keep me going and warm – the house is so cold at the moment.

Yearning – For a full working kitchen! 🍴
