I wanted to start the year off in something colourful, so this is what I wore on my first day back to work. It is a Susie Blouse hack – just lengthened into a dress. But I was freezing in it! Despite my thermal vest underneath, I was not warm!
So, the next couple of days I opted for warmer wear. Nice blouses but with jeans, boots and a chunky knit cardigan! I also decided to embrace some flower stud earrings – wearing my hair like this shows them off.
I love the neckline detail of the Susie Blouse.
This was me at the weekend. I wore an Edie Top underneath my big chunky knit mohair jumper. I don’t think the jumper ever came off, but I knew there was pink underneath!
This week back at work I have felt warmer, feminine and stylish. I’m starting to get what I need to do to be warm! Fine knit jumpers with Lizzie Skirts (and thermal vest underneath) and a nice scarf to hand as well, in case I am still cold! The 1940s wrap dress is perfect for this weather. I wore it with my long sleeve cardigan and loved it.
And yesterday, I just kept my beret on all day! Warm and french – what more could you want?!
